  Thks for the post. I enjoyed reading it.
  I don't play at the Station, either, and for the same reason: short BR. 
Haven't yet played at of the Reservation casinos, but have a brother-in-law
that is having notable success at the Omaha/8 tables at those card rooms.
  For lower limit HE (2-5), try Harrah's in NKC.  Very friendly and competent
staff.  Not as "fishy" a game as one might assume from the low limit; at least
I always find it interesting,  and usually maginally profitable.  I also like
the Argosy, but I'm not sure why...well, maybe it's the free sandwich buffet
and easy-money (but not much) 1-4 7 stud.  In ref to your observations
regarding "Crazy Asians, I have found that very few of my preconceptions
regarding players,  based on any visual clues, has  been of any value here in
the Heartland, i.e. stereotypes can be very EV negative..(Heck, we've even got
a couple trulio-realio drunks that play a darn sight better than you'd ever
guess.)
  Hope you'll come back to Kansas (and KC)  when you can.
